Intended Use:
Disposable Pathological Cell Collector is suitable for collecting and storing saliva samples secreted by human oral cavity at room temperature, and then DNA in saliva samples can be obtained by nucleic acid extraction.
Summary and Principles
This product collects saliva samples secreted by oral cavity, and evenly mixes the collected saliva with virus preservation medium, thus ensuring the integrity of DNA in saliva samples and their long-term preservation at room temperature.
Product Description
Disposable Pathological Cell Collector is ready for use and requires no further preparation. It is including one saliva funnel, one 10ml labelled screw-cap sampling tube, one 5ml medium tube with 2ml virus preservation medium and one biohazard bag.

Disposable pathological cell collector is sterilized by Gamma Radiation, Non heat source, DNAse and RNAse free to ensure that the disposable pathological cell collector itself will not have a toxic effect on the sample.
Sampling tube:
The tube body and cap are made of high-quality medical grade polypropylene material, which is transparent and clean, without deformation at high temperature and high pressure (120°C 15min), and does not become brittle at low temperature (-80 °C)
Storage:
Store in a dry and ventilated place at room temperature and away from light. Keep away from dampness. Do not store with poisonous or odorous articles. Avoid direct contact with fire sources, inflammables and corrosives.
Cautions:
- The lid of the sampling tube should be tightened in time to avoid the occurrence of bubbles in the sample as much as possible after the use of Disposable pathological cell collector for sampling.
- The product is used for the collection of saliva samples, and sampling procedures should be strictly in accordance with the instructions for use.
- 30 minutes before the collection of saliva samples, rinse mouth with water and fast after gargling. If the virus preservation medium is accidentally splashed into the eyes or skin, rinse immediately with water.
- Do not use the product after expiration date or if the package is damaged.
User Manual
- Before collecting saliva samples for 30 minutes, rinse mouth with water and fast after gargling.
- Relax and massage your cheeks, take out the saliva funnel with sampling tube and spit saliva into the funnel until the saliva (free of bubbles) reaches 2ml.
- Hold the tube in one hand to ensure that the sampling tube is in an upright position, and pour the virus preservation medium, screw off the funnel, cover it with the sampling tube cap and tighten it.
- Mix the tighten sampling tube upside down and upside down for 10-15 times.
- Mark relevant sample information on the sampling tube, put it into the biohazard bag, and discard the funnel to complete the collection of saliva samples.
